This retractable roof is one of the first mobile covering systems we developed. It features an elegant wave-shaped design composed of eight movable lanes that, through an integrated system of rails, trolleys and lifting arms, allow the structure to fold and unfold smoothly and reliably.
The same mechanism ensures proper tensioning of the membrane, providing resistance against wind and snow loads. We handled the complete design, manufacturing and installation of the entire system, delivering a fully turnkey solution.
This project was awarded the AFAI 2011 Award of Excellence in the category of tensile structures exceeding 2,300 m².
