In collaboration with an engineering firm and our client, we developed the retractable roof of the Avicii Arena - a project that combines efficiency, versatility, and engineering excellence. Our work focused on the movement system and retractable mechanism.
The system includes:
- Over 2,000 meters of curved aluminum tracks, seamlessly integrated into the structure
- 488 motorized and guided trolleys for smooth, synchronized movement
- Electric motors and gear systems ensuring reliability and precision
- An advanced control software, capable of independently managing different bays and custom configurations
Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, the roof can dynamically reconfigure itself to adapt to any event, consistently delivering top performance and transforming the arena into a world-class multifunctional venue.
