For the construction of this roof system, we collaborated with a local company specializing in glass façades, taking care of the design and production of a retractable skylight with a dedicated sunshade, complete with its mechanical components and electronic control system.
The skylight consists of a steel and glass structure that can be opened or closed according to the building's functional needs. The internal retractable sunshade is made of a white shading fabric that can be extended or retracted to modulate the shading of the area below. Both systems are independent and run on dedicated rails using trolleys driven by chains.
This retractable roof efficiently demonstrates the ability to make a space more versatile and adaptable to different situations in an effective and practical way, offering the client a turnkey solution followed from start to finish and supported even after installation through maintenance services.
