For the construction of the 18x18 metre movable glass door, integrated into the glass façade of a major building in Lusail, we designed, manufactured, and installed the complete mechanical, electrical and control systems.
We also supervised the installation of the steel structure, which is essential to ensure the proper operation of all guiding and motion components. The mechanism we developed allows the two door panels to move outward from the façade by approximately one metre, driven by ten devices that enable them to roll smoothly on precision spheres.
Afterward, both door frames slide along their respective carriages in opposite directions, creating an opening of about nine metres on each side.
