Pyrolysis Power Generation Plant: Project for Ronda SPA
We supplied all the stainless steel used to build the plant, including most of the mechanical components, and we provided a 5,000 m² area equipped with machinery and skilled personnel for the installation phase. The plant was completed, tested, and transferred to its final site in the summer of 2015, after three years of development and optimization required to achieve the targeted performance levels.
Pyrolysis is the thermochemical decomposition of organic material at high temperatures in the absence of oxygen: biomass, waste, and both municipal and industrial sludge can be processed to obtain ecogas, which can then be used for electricity generation. The application of pyrolysis to power generation is relatively recent and carries significant innovative value.
One distinctive feature of this project is its modular design: the entire plant is divided into independent modules, each the size of a 20-foot container, which can be pre-assembled in our facilities and easily transported and installed on site.
