The Lanaro company intervened in the restoration of the tritons fountain in Valletta.
Our intervention consisted in the structural recovery of the sculptural group and the elimination of the support column added after vandalism that causated the collapse of the basin; that permitted to bring the fountain back at its original shape.
A skeleton made of AISI 316 stainless steel has been inserted inside the bronze skin, with the dual function of supporting the load of upper basin and of bronze skin and to allow the passage of the water and electricity pipes.
The tritons and the basin were restored in our factories and then shipped to Malta where our team, in collaboration with a group of Italian companies, completed the restoration of the fountain.
